This old wreck could date from the war of 1812 era. It has an ornately carved, massive beak head style of bow, which may have supported afigurehead at one time. The bowsprit was pushed back when the ship hit the bottom, bow first! Both masts lie to the starboard side, leaning on the rail. A stove sits inside the roofless wheelhouse along side the damaged wheel.
