Dave  began his Scuba adventures in 2012 following discussions with his fellow Camper, friend and PADI Instructor Dan. Over the following few years, he progressed up the PADI ladder, obtaining his Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Rescue Diver certifications, while also accompanying Dan as unofficial mate on Silent Diver on occasion. 

When Dan agreed to take over as Captain of the Emily C, Dave joined him as First Mate and Chief cook (and Bilge Rat 1st Class, he has the cert. and the T-shirt. Dan also crewed on the Emily C with Captain Gary on several occasions, which included BBQing during a howling thunderstorm while anchored in the River. 

He continued his  Scuba instruction with Dan, while assisting him with Open Water training courses for new Divers and completed his Divemaster training in 2019. 

Every charter on the Emily C is an opportunity to provide our Divers with the best dive experience they can have in the Thousand Islands,  and Dave looks forward to each trip.
